Within that time, Geoffrey oversees the full creative output of your brand: reviewing work, directing strategy, managing creative suppliers, making brand governance decisions, and ensuring coherence across every touchpoint. Retainers are structured around a minimum three-month commitment and reviewed quarterly.

What is included in a brand identity project?
A brand identity project begins with brand strategy — defining positioning, audience, and the principles that will govern every creative decision. Depending on the brief, the identity may then be extended across digital, print, environmental, and spatial applications. Every engagement is scoped individually; there are no packages.
How long does a branding project take?
A full brand identity — from discovery through to final brand guidelines — typically takes between six and twelve weeks, depending on scope and the client's availability for review stages. Projects that extend into website design, wayfinding, or environmental design are scoped individually. All timelines are agreed at the outset.
Is work delegated to junior designers or subcontractors?
No. Every engagement is handled directly by Geoffrey Idun. There are no junior designers, no subcontractors, and no delegation of creative decisions. This is a deliberate constraint — it is the foundation of the coherence that defines the work.
Do you work with clients outside London?
Yes. Idun Design works with clients across the UK and internationally. Discovery and review stages are conducted in person where appropriate; the majority of ongoing work is managed remotely. Geoffrey is based in London.
